Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo rushed to hospital due to "acute lumbar and cervical pain"

GMA News Online reports that former president and current Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was rushed to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City on Thursday night, August 2.

GMA News Online reports that former president and current Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was rushed to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City on Thursday night, August 2. The report cited information from her spokesperson Elena Bautista-Horn, who revealed that Arroyo was brought to the VMMC after she complained of "acute cervical and lumbar pain." Doctors have advised her to be confined at the hospital. The report pointed out, though, that as f Friday morning , August 3, "no other details of her condition were immediately available from the VMMC."
