McDonald’s PH franchise expects to add 40 to 50 branches this year

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Kenneth S. Yang, president and CEO of master franchise holder Golden Arches Development Corp., said in an interview: "We are very excited, we continue to grow. This year we can grow 40 to 50 stores all over the country."

This year we can grow 40 to 50 stores all over the country." According to the report, if Yang’s projection materializes, the company will have 370 stores nationwide by the end of the year.

 

The report noted that the "benchmark investment for a new branch is around ₱40 million, with McDonald's targeting businessmen, professionals and retirees as its franchising partners." The report also revealed that the first branch of the quick service restaurant chain opened in Morayta, Manila back in 1981.
