Soil erosion causes "sinkhole" on Marcos Highway in Antipolo City

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that due to the persistent heavy rains, a section of Marcos Highway in Antipolo City has developed a "sinkhole." Soil erosion was cited as the reason for it. The sinkhole was first spotted on the morning of August 8. The report revealed that a jeepney with eight passengers had fallen into the sinkhole.  Fortunately, there were no casualties. However, the sinkhole has reportedly rendered the higway virtually impassable.
