PDEA warns the public against swindlers posing as their agents

Philstar.com reports that on Monday, Augsut 20, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Jose Gutierrez Jr. issued a public advisory against "fake PDEA recuiters."

Philstar.com reports that on Monday, Augsut 20, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Jose Gutierrez Jr. issued a public advisory against "fake PDEA recuiters." The advisory stems from the arrest of a woman named Jocelyn Mendoza-Domingo, 49, last August 16, "who had introduced herself as Lieutenant Colonel Josephine Mendoza from PDEA and tried to enlist people in becoming ’roving PDEA agents.’"

 

The report revealed that Mendoza-Domingo was arrested in an entrapment operationtraffic enforcer Salvador Dela Cruz, 39, of Sta. Maria, Bulacan revealed that "Mendoza-Domingo duped him by asking 1,560 as PDEA recruitment and processing fees."
