NAIA janitor returns over ₱600,000 left behind in a bag owned by businessman

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Monday afternoon (September 3) Ronald Gadayan, a janitor at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2, returned a black bag containing ₱634,896. He handed it over to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

 

According to MIAA media officer Connie Bungag Gadayan found the bag at the pre-departure area of the NAIA Terminal 2’s south wing. The report revealed that "the bag belongs to businessman Francis Lloyd Chua, who left for Cebu at 3:30 p.m. via PR 849 that day" and that "his representative, Marie Cherie Lyn Cruz, thanked Gadayan and claimed the money in the presence of MIAA authorities."
