McDonald’s set to open its first vegetarian branch in India in 2013

Agence France-Presse (AFP) correspondent Penny Macrae (via InterAksyon.com) reports that U.S. fastfood chain McDonald’s is set to open its first ever vegetarian-only outlet in the world in India next year.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) correspondent Penny MacRae (via InterAksyon.com) reports that U.S. fastfood chain McDonald’s is set to open its first ever vegetarian-only outlet in the world in India next year. The report said that the vegetarian McDonald’s branch will be located "near the Golden Temple in the Sikh holy city of Amritsar in northern India, where religious authorities forbid consumption of meat at the shrine."
