Rep. Mikey Arroyo’s in-laws set to be issued ultimatum to vacate Forbes Park mansion, which has been foreclosed by BPI

News 5’s Gerry Lirio (via InterAksyon.com) reports that "the family of businessman Herman Montenegro [will soon be asked] to vacate their Forbes Park property." The property refers to a "sprawling mansion" and the 1,750-hectare lot at No. 132 Cambridge Circle, North Forbes Park, Makati City." The mansion was built in the 1960s and has been the Montenegro family’s residence since then.

Montenegro’s wife, Charito, is the second cousin of former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo. The Montenegros are the parents of Angela Montegro-Arroyo, who is married to Ang Galing party-list Rep. Mikey Arroyo.

Lirio’s report noted that the Makati sheriff is set to  "serve an ultimatum for the Montenegros anytime this week." The report further revealed: "The ultimatum is meant to enforce the deed of sale in October last year between Chinese businessman Emilio Tiu of Solid Shipping Lines and the Bank of Philippine Islands, which foreclosed the Montenegro property as a result of the family’s failure to settle its debts to the Ayala-owned bank of up to ₱135.8 million last year."
