Sharon Cuneta defends Sen. Tito Sotto, says his use of Robert Kennedy’s words didn’t need to be explained

ABS-CBNNews.com, citing PEP, reports that actress Sharon Cuneta is defending Senator Tito Sotto from those who have continued to slam him for his reported plagiarism of some parts of his three turno en contra speeches on the Repreoductive Health Bill.

In particular, Cuneta singled out Sotto’s use of the words from the late U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy’s speech. She pointed out: "Sa akin kasi (For me), those words were meant for the whole world to refer to kahit wala na ’yung orihinal na nagsabi (even if the original source was not mentioned)... si (it’s) RFK [Robert F. Kennedy], di ba (right)?"
