A woman gave birth at the Manila North Cemetery while thousands of Filipinos were visiting their dead over the All Souls’ Day long weekend.

A woman gave birth at the Manila North Cemetery while thousands of Filipinos were visiting their dead over the All Souls’ Day long weekend.

 

Itchie Cabayan of Journal Online reports Jennilyn Ventura gave birth in an ambulance at the cemetery. She was reportedly assisted by volunteers from the Philippine Red Cross who were at Manila North Cemetery. Ventura, who gave birth to a baby girl, was in stable condition at the Tondo General Hospital as of this post.

 

Appropriate to the season, the baby girl will reportedly be given the nickname "Unday".
