Only 2 members of the House of Representatives have tickets to Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas

Two members of the House of Representatives have requested travel authority from the House Speaker to go to Las Vegas to watch their collaeague Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao’s boxing match.

Two members of the House of Representatives have requested travel authority from the House Speaker to go to Las Vegas to watch their collaeague Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao’s boxing match.

 

Kathrina Alvarez of Sun.Star Online reports only Northern Samar Rep. Emil Ong and Butil party-list Rep. Agapito Guanlao have requested travel authority specicifcally to watch the fight on Sunday.  "Only two will watch, but (there’s) definitely no funding from the House," the report quotes a source from the office of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr.

 

Fourteen other lawmakers are travelling to the U.S. but on official business, and they will be "but mostly in (the) East Coast."

 

House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II earlier told reporters that at least 26 lawmakers will be out of the country on Monday, when deliberations on the RH bill resume.
