Manny Pacquiao back in Manila, promises to rise again

Superstar boxer and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao said Wednesday that he will not be retiring after his knock-out loss to Juan Manuel Marquez over the weekend.

Superstar boxer and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao said Wednesday that he will not be retiring after his knock-out loss to Juan Manuel Marquez over the weekend.

 

According to Joey Villar and Rudy Santos of the Philippine Star, Pacquiao arrived in Manila on Wednesday and told fans and supporters that although he needs to recover from the fight, "we will rise again." He did not say who he will be fighting next.

 

"Ganun talaga, kasama sa boxing yan. Pag dumating yung panahon na ganitong sitwasyon, kailangan buong pusong tanggapin (Things like that happen and when it does, we should accept it whole-heartedly)," he said of the loss.
