A burglar made off with P600,000 from an office of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines in Cebu City, according to a report by Sun.Star Cebu.

Police found no signs of forced entry and they are looking into the possibility that the theft was an inside job. Six people who work for the organization have been asked to undergo polygraph tests.

Rolando Pinili, chief of the Theft and Robbery Section of the Cebu City police, said the thief may have known the combination to the safe where the money was kept, or that it may not have been locked properly.

Employees of the GSP might not receive their Christmas bonuses this year because of the theft.
