On Monday, January 7, Eric B. Apolonio of InterAksyon.com reported that "Taiwanese tourist Eddie Yan (Yu-Te Yang) was thankful when airport authorities returned a bag containing $8,000 and other valuables he inadvertently left at the initial X-Ray screening area of NAIA Terminal 1."
The report noted: "Luckily, airport screener Richard Martin Sison of the Office of Transportation Security (OTS) retrieved Yang's bag and turned it over to his immediate supervisor Gerry Asuncion, who then reported and submitted the bag to airport Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) for proper inventory and custody."
