Former That’s Entertainment star Tina Paner accused of selling fake airline tickets by fellow Pinoys in Barcelona
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "some Filipinos based in Barcelona, Spain have filed a complaint against singer-actress Kristina Paner for allegedly selling fake plane tickets."
One of Tina Paner’s most recent acting gigs was in the 2006 movie, Barcelona. (She has her moment in the trailer at 1:38 to 1:52.)
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "some Filipinos based in Barcelona, Spain have filed a complaint against singer-actress Kristina Paner for allegedly selling fake plane tickets." The report revealed that "the news broke out after some of the complainants posted a comment that they were looking for Paner on a Facebook group shared by many Pinoys in Spain." The said complainants alleged that the tickets they had bought from Paner turned out to be bogus.
The report noted: "Mary Jane Cacho was among those who purchased their plane tickets from Paner. She paid the full amount of 785 euros for the ticket. She said she trusted Paner after a friend who also bought a ticket from Paner did not encounter any problem." The report went on to quote Cacho, who related, "I was shocked when Qatar Airways informed me that my name wasn’t on their list." According to Cacho, she "tried to phone Paner several times but her calls were only received by an answering machine."
