PAGASA records lowest temperature in Metro Manila: 18.1°C in QC on January 24

The Philippie News Agency (via InterAksyon.com) reports that according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) the temperature dropped to 18.1°C in Diliman, Quezon City on Thursday, January 24.

The Philippie News Agency (via InterAksyon.com) reports that according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) the temperature dropped to 18.1°C in Diliman, Quezon City on Thursday, January 24. The report noted that it was "the lowest temperature recorded in Metro Manila since the cold season began in December" and was recorded at the agency's Science Garden in Diliman around 6 a.m.

 

PAGASA forecaster Julie Nimes said "the country will continue experiencing cooler days until the end of February, when the northeast monsoon or amihan ends."
