Erika Sauler of the Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that "the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) is inviting everyone to a hug fest dubbed as the first Yakapalooza in Rizal Park in Manila on February 14." The report added: "The committee has declared 9 p.m. as the "love hour" where everyone can exchange hugs, an event that will be preceded by a free concert."
The report quoted NPDC spokesperson Kenneth Montegrande, who said, "It's a time to express your love, not just to your significant other, but also to family members, barkada and even officemates. While you can't kiss your friends, you can freely embrace them to give comfort or show appreciation."
