Classes suspended in Parañaque; PAGASA issues yellow warning

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "Classes in all levels from pre-school to college for public and private schools in Parañaque City are suspended as of 10:14 a.m. Friday, February 22, according to Mayor Jun Bernabe."

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that "Classes in all levels from pre-school to college for public and private schools in Parañaque City are suspended as of 10:14 a.m. Friday, February 22, according to Mayor Jun Bernabe." The report noted: "This is after the northeast monsoon caused moderate to heavy rains in Metro Manila."

 

The report added that "PAGASA also raised the yellow rainfall warning as of 8 a.m. Friday, February 22 indicating moderate to heavy rainfall in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Rizal." The report said "light to moderate rains over Metro Manila, Aurora, Bataan, and Bulacan."

 

The yellow warning indicates 7.5 to 15mm of rainfall that’s "observed in one hour and is expected to continue for two more hours."
