"Pinoys should retweet more," says Dr. Mahar Lagmay of Project NOAH

InterAksyon.com reports that During his presentation at an event in Davao early last week, Dr. Mahar Lagmay, who heads Project Noah (Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards), said "Filipinos should change their collective psyche about retweeting."

The report noted that Lagmay, whose Twitter username is @nababaha, has more than 16,000 followers.

 

InterAksyon.com then embedded  a slideshow of Lagmay’s comments at the said event, as live-tweeted by an InterAksyon.com staff member (@scribblerjack). In the tweets, it was revealed that Lagmay disclosed that he once tweeted about an "impending flood" and it only got 15 retweets. Meanwhile, he observed, that when "a good-looking Thai guy tweets, ’Magandang umaga po’ and it gets 680 retweets
