Body of missing DILG employee found in trunk of her own car; Colleague confesses to crime

Jaime Sinapit of InterAksyon.com reports that "the body of Ayres Osurman Napires, 32-an employee of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Camarines Sur who had been missing since March 8-was found inside a sack in the trunk of her own vehicle after the killer, a colleague, confessed the crime to authorities."

The report revealed: "Superintendent Renato Bataller, Bicol police spokesman, said Napires’ body was recovered around 9 p.m. Wednesday (March 13) from her Toyota sedan, which was parked at the Villa Caceres Hotel on Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City."

 

The killer was identified as "Dennis Erich Medina, 35, also a DILG employee and resident of Villa Sorebilla Subdivision, Barangay Concepcion Grande, Naga." The report explained that Medina had tried to borrow money from Napires. When the latter refused his request, he strangled her with a rope.
