11 NPA members caught collecting "campaign permit payments" in Bulacan

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Friday, April 26, "11 members of the New People’s Army (NPA) were arrested by the Army’s 56th Infantry Battalion inside an NPA camp in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan."

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that on Friday, April 26, "11 members of the New People’s Army (NPA) were arrested by the Army’s 56th Infantry Battalion inside an NPA camp in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan."

 

The report noted: "Armed Forces deputy public affairs chief Maj. Emmanuel Garcia said the rebels were arrested after being caught with various high-powered firearms and grenades, and permit to campaign materials. Garcia explained that the suspects were caught collecting payments for permits to campaign in the area."
