ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Nancy Binay's Wikipedia page was defaced on Wednesday, May 15, with inaccurate information. Among the changes made to her page included the revelation that she "[came] from a dynasty" in the Philippines. But that wasn’t the worst of it. The defacement also included racist details about Binay and her husband, as well as below-the-belt references to her children.
Moreover, it was also written that she "performed administrative duties such as preparing coffee (’timpla ng kape’), photocopying (’Xerox’) and buying supplies at National Bookstore (’pagbili ng office supplies sa National Bookstore’)" when she was the personal assistant to her mother Elenita, who was served as mayor of Makati.
As of this writing, all the malicious information mentioned in the report is no longer found on Binay's Wikipedia page.
