ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the fire which hit the Divisoria Mall in Manila before midnight on Wednesday, May 15, has been contained but firefighters say it may take at least two days before they can declare "fire out."
Â
The report revealed: "Two people, security guard Teodoro Enriquez and utility worker Franklin Peralta, were trapped inside the burning building but were rescued about two hours after the fire erupted."
Â
Initial reports didn’t explain how the fire started, though it has been alleged that it started in the mall’s basement.
