Owner of Two Serendra unit shocked over explosion, reveals tenant is a family friend

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Marian Cayton Castillo-the owner of Two Serendra's unit 501 which was hit by a powerful explosion last Friday evening, May 31-is "very traumatized by the explosion that killed three people and injured four others." Castillo, who is based in Anaheim, California also revealed that "the tenant, Angelito San Juan, is a family friend and that she can vouch for him."

 

The report noted that San Juan is now a "person of interest" in the investigation. The report added, "San Juan suffered third degree burns in various parts of his body as a result of the blast. He is recuperating in the intensive care unit of St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) in Global City, Taguig."

 

As for Castillo, it was further revealed that "she does not expect to travel to Manila soon" and that she "had bought unit 501 at the ’pre-selling’ price." The report explained that "separate sources, both of whom live in Two Serendra, said unit 501 was being renovated until roughly the third week of May before San Juan came to live there."
