Daiana Menezes and Rep. Benjo Benaldo were married in Las Vegas in 2012, confirms ABS-CBN North America News Bureau

Amid the brewing controversy involving Brazilian model Daiana Menezes comes a not-so-shocking revelation.

ABS-CBNews.com reports that their North America News Bureau recently confirmed that "Menezes and Cagayan de Oro Rep. Jose Benjamin "Benjo" Benaldo were married in a civil wedding in Las Vegas in December 2012."

The report noted: "Early this (June), Menezes was all-smiles during a press event as she showed off a 4-carat diamond ring, given to her by Benaldo."
