InterAksyon.com reports that Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II has ordered on Thursday, June 13, "the mandatory inspection of the piped-in gas systems of 2,600 residential units and business establishments at the posh Bonifacio Global City in Taguig."
According to the report, the mandatory inspections will "cover 12 residential buildings and 258 businesses and will be based on a detailed checklist to be released by the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Taguig City government." The checklist will then be handed over to the representatives of the establishments "for them to implement a 'self-check.'" The report quoted Roxas as saying that "the inspections should be completed between six to seven weeks, or by the end of July."
