Daiana Menezes’ husband Rep. Benjo Benaldo dismisses abuse allegations, says, "Like any couple, Daiana and I encounter problems"

Amidthe brewing controversy over Brazilian model Daiana Menezes’ Instagram and Twitter posts hinting that she’s been abused, her husband, PEP.ph reports that her husband Rep. Benjo Benaldo dismissed the rumors by saying, "We fought because of love." Benaldo is the outgoing congressman of Cagayan de Oro City.

ABS-CBNNews.com also noted that Benaldo released a statement on Thursday, June 13, wherein he said, "Like any couple, Daiana and I encounter problems. We try to resolve them privately. I have apologized to her and she has accepted."  He added: "She has forgiven me because she truly loves me. I am truly blessed."
