Indie film actor accused of robbing Pasay City motel

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the Pasay City police "are now hunting down independent film actor Marco Morales for allegedly robbing a motel in Pasay City last June 11." Other sources indicated that Morales had a bit role in the movie My Best Friend’s Girlfriend and was part of indie flicks like the Joel Lamangan-helmed Walang Kawala.

 

The report explained that Morales, who was earlier identified as Marco Gonzaga Sarca, "was positively identified by the police based on the footage from a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera in the area." The indie film actor is "facing charges of theft and estafa for stealing the motel room’s television and skipping out on his bill which amounted to P10,210."

 

Aside from these, Sarca has also been charged with "damage to property and attempted homicide after he hit a hotel staff with his Volvo car with plate number UPZ 452 while he was escaping."
