Manila marks 442nd Foundation Day on June 24, holiday in city

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Malacañang Palace has declared June 24 as a "special non-working holiday in the city of Manila."

According to the report, Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa issued Proclamation No. 64 on behalf of President Benigno Aquino declaring the holiday to commemorate "the capital city’s 442nd Foundation Day."
