Filbar’s "reinvents" itself, brings Threadless shirts to PH; will also launch Marvel concept store

Regina Layug-Rosero of GMA News Online reports that Filbar's is "reinventing" itself from being just a comic book store to a one-stop shop for licensed MARVEL items and quirky Threadless shirts.

According to the report, Filbar's announced during the 2013 Toy Convention held at SM Megamall from June 14 to 16 that it would open an officially licensed MARVEL concept store named "Kapow! Universe" in Glorietta 5 sometime later this year.

Aside from launching a MARVEL concept store, the comic book shop said it would also start selling shirts from Threadless.com and products "from the Dark Horse Deluxe Game of Thrones line, Star Trek props from QMx, cute Marvel plushies and vinyl figures from Funko, and Rubie’s Costumes" in all its outlets, including one that is slated to open soon at Festival Mall in Alabang.
