P-Noy berates government employees during their agency’s 50th anniversary celebration

ABS-CBN correspondent Jenny Reyes reports that on Tuesday, June 25, President Benigno Aquino III berated employees of the National Irrigation Authority (NIA) during the celebration of the agency’s 50th anniversary supposedly because it has shown "little improvement over the past couple of years."

The report explained that the President was disappointed with NIA because a number of its projects have yet to be carried out and are still pending at its office. Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said he will "work closely with NIA to address the President’s concerns."
