Concrete dike in Malabon leaking

ABS-CBN correspondent Atom Araullo reports that "sections of a concrete dike in Barangay Hulong Duhat, Malabon are slowly leaking water, causing distress among families living in the area."

According to the report, water poured from sections of the leaking dike onto the road at the height of high tide on Tuesday. Despite the alarm it caused for some residents, city officials said the dike was safe. They said that aside from doing permanent repairs, "sandbagging operations can also be performed quickly as a stopgap measure" should the dikes leak again.
