Aristocrat restaurant awarded with Historical Marker by National Historical Commission of the Philippines
It’s been around for 77 years.
InterAksyon.com’s Romsanne Ortiguero reports that "with its 77 years of history in the restaurant industry, Aristocrat was recently recognized by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) as an iconic landmark and was awarded a Historical Marker." The marker was unveiled last Thursday, July 4 in front of Aristocrat’s Roxas Boulevard branch.
The report noted: "The marker states a brief history of how restaurant started, with Engracia Cruz-Reyes or fondly called as Aling Asiang as the founder started a snack store named The Admiral Dewey and later became The Aristocrat diner featuring favorite Filipino dishes."
