Philippine Postal Corp. launches first ever triangle-shaped stamps
The limited edition stamps cost P100 each.

The Philippine Star's Evelyn Macairan reports that the Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) has printed 10,000 triangle-shaped stamps featuring eight marine species found in the country.
The report explained that PHLPost issued for the first time the Philippine Marine Biodiversity Stamp "in line with its participation in the ’Thailand 2013 World Stamp Exhibition’ being held at the Siam Paragon in Bangkok." Marine animals featured in the stamp collection include the Lemon Goby, Dragon Wrasse, Spotted Puffer, the three-spot Angelfish, the white-tailed Damselfish, and the Orange Sea Perch.
The stamps are now being sold at the Manila Central Post Office in Liwasang Bonifacio and at all PHLPost regional offices for P100 each.
