Janet Lim Napoles and her brother Reynald Lim placed on Bureau of Immigration’s lookout bulletin
The question is, will justice really be served?
Marlene Alcaide of News5 (via InterAksyon.com) reports that Janet Lim Napoles, the businesswoman who’s been named as one of the key personalities in the P10 billion pork barrel scam, and her brother Reynald "Jojo" Lim, has been placed on the immigration lookout bulletin upon the orders of Justice Secretary Leila de Lima.
The report explained that de Lima, who has supervision over the Bureau of Immigration (BI), ordered the inclusion of Napoles and Lim on the lookout bulletin order (LBO) "to ensure authorities keep track of the duo’s whereabouts as parallel investigations are under way into their supposed use of funds from the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of lawmakers." Napoles and Lim’s inclusion in the LBO means the BI must alert either the NBI or the DOJ if Napoles or her brother are planning to leave the country.
Napoles has been tagged as the mastermind of a scam supposedly involving the diversion of several lawmakers’ pork barrel funds into projects for bogus foundations. Lim is alleged to be behind the creation of nearly two dozen fake non-government organizations that became recipients of the lawmakers’ PDAF.
