Classes still suspended in some Metro Manila areas due to bad weather

Better safe than stranded.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the following local government units have suspended classes on Tuesday, August 13, in anticipation of heavy rains on the tail winds of Typhoon Labuyo:

 

  • Valenzuela City:  No classes for daycare and preschool (public and private).  Classes will resume Tuesday for elementary and high school levels (public and private schools).
  • Taguig City: No classes for daycare, elementary, and high school students in public and private schools.
  • Malabon (preschool)
  • Angeles, Pampanga (preschool)

 

The report also noted: "The Quezon City public information office, meanwhile, announced on Monday night, August 12, that all levels in public and private schools and universities in the city will have classes on Tuesday, August 13. In Marikina, classes in all levels will also resume on Tuesday, August 13."
