Former Chief Justice Renato Corona attempts to join Million People March, leaves after getting booed by crowd
Too bad for him.
News5 (via InterAksyon.com) reports that on Monday, August 26, "former Chief Justice Renato Corona attempted to join the Million People March protesters in Luneta but was heckled out of the grounds by the crowd." Evidently, as the report pointed out, "people are still contemptuous of him, as he was ousted from his post on grounds of corruption last year."
The report noted: "Corona tried but failed to enter the rally grounds as some people heckled the ex-Chief Justice with shouts of ’epal’. He later joined his wife and quickly left in their family vehicle."
