Ateneo head coach Bo Perasol confronts heckler after Blue Eagles vs. Green Archers game, Araneta Coliseum bouncers intervene

Let cooler heads prevail.

Camille Naredo of reports that on Sunday, September 1, "Ateneo head coach Bo Perasol had to be restrained after nearly confronting a heckler at the end of the UAAP Season 76 game between the Blue Eagles and the Green Archers at the Araneta Coliseum." The Green Archers won the game.


The report revealed: "Eyewitnesses said that on his way to the Ateneo dugout, Perasol tried to confront the heckler sitting at the La Salle side of the patron section, and had to be restrained by his assistants and Araneta Center bouncers. The heckler, reportedly a La Salle supporter, was escorted out by the Araneta bouncers."


The report quoted Perasol, who said, "Sabi ko, hindi tama sa akin. Baka akala niya siguro player ako na pwede niyang sigaw-sigawan (I said it didn’t seem right to me. Maybe he thought I was just one of the players that he could shout at)."
