Missing car of murdered ad agency executive Kristelle "Kae" Davantes found in Las Piñas
Hopefully, this will lead police to her killers.
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac revealed that the car (a silver Toyota Altis) of slain advertising executive Kristelle "Kae" Davantes at the corner of Nickel and Silver Streets in Camella Homes 4, Barangay Pamplona, Las Piñas City late Saturday evening (September 14).
The report noted: "Barangay officials said residents called their attention after the car’s loud alarm began startling the neighborhood at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 14. Barangay watchman (tanod) Charlie Cagay said he had to remove the car’s battery to stop its alarm. He also noticed smoke coming from inside the car. After checking the contents of the car, SOCO personnel found several clothes soaked in fuel, raising suspicions that there was an attempt to burn down the vehicle."
According to the report, "the car’s two registration plates (PIM 966) were also missing, but Davates’ relatives were still able to confirm that the car belonged to Davantes." The report also said "a P200,000 reward money was earlier offered by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for any information that may lead to the arrests of suspects in the killing of Davantes."
Davantes’ family buried her remains on Sunday, September 15, in Sucat, Parañaque City.
