3 suspects in murder of ad executive Kae Davantes now in police custody
One suspect says, "Humihingi ako ng pasensya."
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that three suspects in the murder of 25-year-old advertising executive Kae Davantes are now in the custody of authorities. The were identified as Samuel Decimo, 19, Reggie "Jojo" Diel, 30, and Lloyd Enriquez, 18.
Decimo, the first one to be nabbed on Friday, September 20, had earlier confessed that he was part of the group who killed Davantes. Then, in a press conference last Saturday, September 21, Diel and Enriquez were presented to the media by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO). The police revealed there are "at least 6 suspects in the case."
According to Decimo’s testimony that on Saturday, September 14, "they were looking for a potential victim when they chanced upon Davantes alone in her car." We were in a car. She was in her car behind us. Then, suddenly she stopped in what turned out to be her house. We had already stopped our own vehicle by then. When she got out of her car to open the gate, that was when we theatened her)."
Police later found out that the car Decimo was riding belonged to the employee of one of the suspects, Jomar Pepito, who is still at large. The said employee was unaware that Pepito had been using the car for his own trips. The group intended to rob Davantes but they said they later decided to murder her as well because she had already seen their faces and the plate of the car they had been driving.
