Jeane Napoles puts up posh Ritz Carlton apartment for sale for $1.475 million
Is her faux fairytale coming to and end?
ABS-CBN North America News Bureau correspondent Steve Angeles reports that Jeane Napoles, the daughter of the alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet-Lim Napoles, has put up her condominium unit at the upscale Ritz Carlton in Los Angeles for sale for $1.475 million.
According to the report, Napoles' unit officially went on sale on September 23, through listings was posted on several American realty websites. The Ritz Carlton apartment boasts of a 1,500 square feet floor area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Public realty records show that it was bought for $1.28 million in 2011.
"Sources from the Ritz Carlton told Balitang America that a Napoles employee was seen moving bags of Jeane’s belongings days before the August 26 anti-pork barrel protest," the article said. Napoles' lawyer Lorna Kapunan has said in interviews that her client's children have been "suffering" since their family's bank accounts were frozen since they cannot even access money from their ATMs to buy gas for their cars.
