Quezon City Science High School principal accused of leaking school’s entrance exam, quarterly test to review center
The review center is owned by the principal’s friend.
GMA News Online reports that Quezon City Science High School (QCSHS) principal Zenaida Sadsad has been accused by faculty members and students of leaking the school's entrance exam and quarterly test to a favored review center.
According to the report, Sadsad had allegedly "arranged with Brainworks/Brainchamps Tutorial Learning Center the sure entry of their applicants to QCSHS, one of the country's leading science schools." Math teacher Arnel Salvo said the review center was owned by Sadsad's friend. Parents reportedly paid P25,000 to Brainworks to help their children get into QCSHS.
"In a 26-page complaint-affidavit filed with the Department of Education-National Capital Region on Sept. 26, Salvo said Sadsad's ’collusion’ with Brainworks ’commercialized the admission process of incoming freshmen,’" the article said. The principal was also said to have leaked the questions to a quarterly exam to QCSHS students who enrolled in Brainworks for pre-test reviews.
