Video of 3 girls crushing a puppy to death goes viral, enrages animal rights group and animal lovers
Will they ever catch the people behind this horrifying hobby?
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) are now looking for the three girls who were caught on video kicking and crushing a wailing puppy to death.
According to the report, the viral video clip "has been shared more than 50,000 times on Facebook" and caused outrage among Filipino Internet users. PAWS executive director Anna Cabrera described the clip in her letter to the BAI as a "crush video, a pornographic material that caters to a horrible, twisted audience."
PAWS has offered to help the government agency in its investigation of the case and said it will ensure that proper charges are filed against the persons in the video. The BAI, meanwhile, has called on the person who uploaded the video to come forward to shed more light on the video clip.
