NAIA Terminal 1 tops list of World’s Worst Airports for the second time

Yes, it sucks and this list proves it. reports that the "Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 was once again voted worst airport in the world by the travel website Sleeping in Airports." Below is the full list of the top 10 in the notorious list:

1. Manila NAIA (Terminal 1)
2. Bergamo
3. Calcutta
4. Islamabad
5. Paris Beauvais
6. Chennai
7. Frankfurt Hahn
8. Mumbai
9. Rome Fiumicino
10 Los Angeles

The report explained that for this year, the website merely listed the best and worst airports in the world without giving a reason for their rankings. In 2011, Sleeping in Airports named NAIA as the worst airport in the world while last year, Manila’s airline hub was adjudged as the worst in Asia. The website acknowledged in its rankings this year that NAIA Terminal 3 receives "much better reviews and feedback" than NAIA 1.

Sleeping in Airports said the results of the survey were based entirely on user votes in its site polls and surveys between the period of September 2012 to August 2013. The list of the world’s best airports was topped by Singapore's Changi airport for the 17th time in a row.
