Commuter bus catches fire on EDSA, no injuries reported
The incident also caused tempers to flare as it made the traffic worse
Associated Press correspondent Mike Frialde (via Philstar.com) reports that a Commuters bus (TXl-836) caught fire as it sped through EDSA at about 9:40 a.m. today, October 17. The report noted: "The bus burst into flames as it neared Cubao. Florentino Corpuz, the bus driver, guided his 21 passengers out of the bus to safety. Nobody was hurt."
The report revealed that rescuers from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and firefighters put out the fire by 10:20 a.m.
