PHLPost marks National Stamp Collecting Month, limited edition Dolphy stamps to be released
You can start lining up for the Comedy King stamps on November 25.
As mandated by Presidential Proclamation Number 494 signed by former President Fidel V. Ramos, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is celebrating the month of November as National Stamp Collecting Month (NSCM). This year's celebration will carry the theme, Selyong Pinoy: Pagpapakita ng Husay at Galing ng mga Pilipino, depicting exemplary Filipinos whose achievements and contribution in nation building were depicted through stamps.
In line with NSCM, PHLPost will be releasing a limited edition Dolphy Stamp. The launching of the Dolphy Stamp will be held on November 23, coinciding with a medical mission backed by Dolphy's. Only 5,000 pieces of this Dolphy Stamps will be made available starting November 25. Each stamp will cost P100. PHLPost said there will be no pre-selling of the stamp so that more Filipinos will have an opportunity to own one.
Aside from the Dolphy Stamp, PHLPost will also release the Tricycle Stamp and the Bonifacio150 Stamp.
