(SPOT.ph) Relief efforts in the wake of typhoon Yolanda are top of mind for everyone. In the face of this unprecedented disaster, every little bit helps, so don’t hesitate to donate and volunteer. Where to donate

Where to volunteer

Another way to help is by volunteering at repacking sites. Aside from the DSWD National Resource Operations Center at Chapel Road, NAIA, Pasay City, satellite repacking hubs are located at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Camp Aguinaldo, and Villamor Air Base. The Empire State Building dons Philippine colors

The iconic New York City building was bathed in the red, white, blue, and yellow of the Philippine flag on Saturday and Sunday to help raise awareness for Yolanda/Haiyan victims. The typhoon was the strongest in the world this year.





Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios
Manny Pacquiao will take on Brandon Rios in a 12-round welterweight showdown at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macao, China on November 24. Pacquiao is dedicating the fight to the victims of typhoon Yolanda and hopes to lift the people’s spirits with a victory.




Catching Fire comes to theaters
The much-anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games hits theaters this week on November 22. Following the events of the previous novel, a rebellion against the oppressive Capitol has begun, and Katniss and fellow tribute Peeta Mellark are forced to return to the arena in a special edition of the Hunger Games.
