Congressman files resolution thanking The Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker

ABS-CBNnews.com reports that Negros Occidental 3rd District Rep. Alfredo ’Albee’ Benitez has filed "House Resolution 577, which praises The Fast and Furious star for setting up a charity event to help raise money for victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the Philippines." Walker, 40, died in a car crash in Valencia, California on November 30, the same day as the charity event for Yolanda survivors.
The report explained: "The resolution noted that Reach Out Worldwide, a non-profit disaster relief group the actor founded, also sent 12 disaster respondents to typhoon-hit areas in the country. A Reach Out spokesman earlier said Walker had a special love for the Philippines."
