You know it’s Christmas in Metro Manila when taxi drivers suddenly get extra creative when it comes to fleecing their passengers.
Kris Bayos of the Manila Bulletin reports: "Commuters who may fall prey to unscrupulous taxi drivers in trying to catch a ride at the airport or malls this holiday season have a new hotline number to call as the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) launched a new hotline for passenger complaints: 459-2129."
The hotline will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
