₱597 million earned by MMFF in just 7 days

ABS-CBNnews.com reports that "the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) continues to rake in cash and break records, earning P597 million in seven days." Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairperson Francis Tolentino said in a text message to ABS-CBNnews.com that this year’s gross earnings are 34.5% higher than the previous year’s.
The current box office favorites are My Little Bossings, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy, Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay, and Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel.
