Dad of Miss International Bea Rose Santiago claims she resents him for not giving her ₱300,000 for "facial enhancements"
Who’s telling the truth?
ABS-CBNnews.com reports that Paul Valencia Santiago, the father of Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, has claimed his relationship with his daughter turned sour last year because he failed to give her P300,000 for "facial enhancements."
The report explained that Santiago, a councilor of Mandaon, Masbate, has written a lengthy Facebook post denying Bea's claim that he abandoned her and her siblings when they were young, saying "it is their mother who is living with another man." He insisted he and his daughter were getting along well until he failed to give the P300,000 she asked from him last year for "facial enhancements." He explained that he didn't have that much money at that time since he was running for public office and was also in need of funds.
"From then on, she turned cold and even colder when her mother arrived and she won the title," he said. "I and some siblings who came home from abroad just to support her attended the coronation night but we all felt her and her mother's indifference."
Santiago has demanded an apology from Bea, warning that her failure to do so might cause her to lose her Miss International crown.
